At this exact moment last year, fewer people had access to the full Bible. But thanks to partners like you, those who lived without the hope of God’s Word in their language can now celebrate a deeper intimacy with Scripture.
Today, there are there are almost 1.5 billion people still waiting for the full counsel of God. Will you help finish the work?

From 1993 to 2014, Seed Company partnered with 1,000 language communities to translate Scripture. Since then, in less than half that time, the number has doubled.
Now, 242,500 Kuku people eagerly await having access to New Testament books in their heart language. This is Seed Company’s 2,000th language engagement. “We are greatly favored and loved by God!” one translator declared.
Reflecting on Seed Company’s mission to accelerate Scripture translation and impact, CEO Larry Jones said, “I feel truly humbled and blessed that God has granted Seed Company, our investors, and our field partners such a phenomenal share in the Bible translation part of the Great Commission cause.”

God says this about his Word: “I send it out, and it always produces fruit” (Isaiah 55:11 NLT). Only God knows how many lives have been transformed since Seed Company was born 30 years ago, but his work is evident in story after story.
Jean Claud sold tarantulas for idol worship but led his whole family to Christ after listening to Mark’s Gospel. Christina accepted Christ days before planning to join the Communist Party; she became a translation consultant instead. And Wilmer defected from a revolutionary terrorist group after hearing Scripture on the radio. All praise and glory to our God who transforms lives!
We are so grateful for the legacy of our founder, Bernie May, whose own life story is a testimony to the transformative power that comes from simply following God’s lead. Watch this video where Bernie encourages our Seed Company staff to “just pray and take the next step,” listening for God’s direction.
On the remote island of Papua in Indonesia, Kobas and Kosarek speakers are rejoicing over the arrival of New Testaments written in the words they understand best! Each community celebrated in their own way, holding dedications a few days apart in August of 2023 to welcome thousands of copies delivered by plane.
Each New Testament offers hope for spiritual transformation set aflame by the power of God’s living Word in their languages. “People who listen to God’s Word have harmony in the household and between villages,” one Kosarek speaker said—a result also reported by the Kobas as Scripture was translated. Read more about these dedications as experienced through the eyes of one Seed Company writer.
