A city-wide initiative for Greenville churches and families to come together to support translating God’s Word for those who are still waiting. $35 can help translate an entire verse into a new language.
Bike for Bibles is a citywide effort to raise awareness and support for a Bible translation for a people group with no existing version in their language. Partnering with the Seed Company, we will fundraise through a cycling event in Greenville County, culminating near the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
A third of the Arbore population in Ethiopia professes Christianity, but most churchgoers lack biblical teaching.
They struggle to grasp spiritual truth from the national language Bible. Local church leaders are committed to guiding their people, but they need mother tongue Scripture to equip them.
In this project, team members are translating the remaining books of the New Testament along with several Old Testament books.
At the end of this phase, the team will prepare the Arbore New Testament for printing, paving the way for the eventual publication of the full Arbore Bible!
In the nearby Gamo community, believers in Jesus have received the New Testament for the first time!
