CEO Davis Powell shares our vision at this thought leader conference.
“Raise your hand if God’s Word has changed your life.” Davis Powell looked out over the conference room in Nashville, TN, where more than 2,000 Christian thinkers, creators, leaders, and wisdom seekers gathered at THINQ Summit 2025.
THINQ, a media and event organization founded by Gabe and Rebekah Lyons, stands for “theology, history, inquiry, nuance, and questions.” Their annual 3-day summit, which includes workshops on everything from AI to Gen Z revival, encourages attendees to stay curious, think well, and advance good. While conversations about faith and culture unfolded at the event, Seed Company’s discussion on Bible translation offered participants a way to connect theological reflection with real-world transformation.

As hands shot up across the room in response to our CEO’s request, the Bible translation statistics shared from the stage began to sink in.
English is one of more than 750 languages with a full Bible. But there are over 7,000 languages used globally today. And millions of people worldwide are still awaiting their very first verse.
What if our generation was the one that got to see all Scripture translated for all people?

In his 9-minute keynote on October 3, Davis cast a vision of what it will take to reach such a goal:
- The global church’s leadership
“Nashville to Nairobi. Johannesburg to Jakarta. The global church helping identify these languages, raising up translators, and holding quality assurance.” - Continued commitment to collaboration
“Seed Company is so honored to be a part of the illumiNations movement, where we share data, and we share strategy, and we share best practices—nobody holding onto their ‘secret sauce’ for personal gain.” - Technology as a force multiplier
“Eighteen months ago, we were leveraging AI in about five languages to help with the drafting of Scripture. Today, it’s gone up to hundreds. … We as believers are called not to just take what technology gives us but to be on the forefront.”

As Seed Company looks to a future when every community has access to God’s Word in the language that speaks to their heart, it is a privilege to invite more people into this pivotal moment in the Bible translation movement.
Like so many of us, those in the room at THINQ were quick to agree that God’s Word had changed their lives. We continue to run together toward a day—soon—when people everywhere can say the same.
