One man braves treacherous roads to ensure others have access to God’s Word.
Six years ago, Alfred Njinyo and a team of translators finished the New Testament in Alfred’s heart language. He could have congratulated himself on a job well done and returned to his regular routines, but that’s not what he chose to do.
Watch Alfred’s Story
Despite the danger to himself and the lack of a safety net for his family, Alfred pushed on. To him, the reward of seeing the surrounding villages receive God’s Word in their own languages is worth any cost.
“It is the love of Christ that compels us and leads us to doing all of this.”
The trip is perilous. The condition of the roads means it can take over a day to get to these communities. Sometimes, rain makes it nearly impossible to get over some hills. But Alfred sees the prize set before him.
Join us in praying for Alfred’s safety, and ask the Lord to bring more workers like Alfred, translators who will complete the task of reaching every language with heart language Scripture.
