Meet Cindy, one of the people you can partner with to advance Bible translation. Your gift will be doubled this month only!
Scroll through the story below to learn more about Cindy.
Cindy* was tired. Burnt out. On edge.
Like you, she is many things at once.
A mother. A wife. A friend. A worker.
She loves being a Bible translator for her community in Asia.
But, as you might know, sometimes it all feels like too much. Life can seem like an insurmountable challenge.
*Pseudonym used to protect anonymity
Cindy dedicated herself to being a loving and present mom. But it’s impossible to be everywhere and everything at once. “Everything has revolved around my son. I feel like I no longer have a sense of self,” she had confessed.
One day, Cindy snapped.
Her son was making a mess, as kids often do. But this time, Cindy lost her temper. She felt as if she couldn’t take it anymore.
Cindy threw all his toys on the ground and began to sob. Her little boy felt scared and started crying too.
Cindy knew that something needed to change. And she knew where to find the change she needed.
Shortly after her outburst, Cindy turned to the Scriptures. As she reflected on God’s message of love to her, she was struck by this verse:
“I realized my shortcomings and began to slowly learn to be patient,” she says.
Now, Cindy speaks gentle words in her home, words that encourage her son. Motivated by those words, her son is also tidying up more.
“Every time you calm down and read the Bible,” she says, “it is a baptism of the soul.”

Cindy traded her anger for peace after reading God’s Word.
Right now, over 850 people groups are still waiting for their first verse of Scripture.
They live each day without the words of wisdom that helped Cindy love her son in a new way.
Will you help Bible translators bring God’s Word to their communities, to those who don’t yet have it in their language?
Will you help us commit $70,000 toward Bible translation this month?
A small group of generous investors will match gifts totaling up to $35,000.
You can help people like Cindy experience the peace of God’s Word.
If we give $70,000 together, we can help translate 2,000 verses!
With your generous support, many more people can find hope in heart language Scripture.
Not only will your gift be doubled, but if you give today, we’ll send you an exclusive phone background. This will help you meditate on the power of Scripture in your own life.
