Common Framework

With this Bible translation method, the community’s needs determine which portions of Scripture are translated first. These portions are distributed as they become available. As a result, people around the world are able to access accurate, usable Scripture more quickly than ever.

Sign Language

Avodah was born after we recognized that the current pace of translating Scripture for the world’s 400 sign languages would take over 200 years and cost well over $1 billion per Bible. Avodah uses artificial intelligence to accelerate sign language translation. In addition, we partnered with multiple organizations to produce the first-ever complete Bible in any sign language—the ASLV (American Sign Language Version).

The "JESUS" Film

Our partnership with the Jesus Film Project began in 1999 with 30 languages. Today, many Bibleless language groups still choose to begin with the “JESUS” film and Gospel of Luke. This combination ensures that everyone has a chance to know the gospel, regardless of literacy level.

In 1993, we started with 10 languages.

 

 

In less than 30 years, we reached over 1,800—representing more than 2 billion people worldwide. 

 


There are over 1,600 languages still remaining.

But at this rate of acceleration, together, we can reach them in our lifetime.
